CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL PECK
Christopher Michael Peck, 50, was welcomed into his Heavenly home on Saturday, July 11, 2026. He was born on May 30, 1976, in Zeeland, Michigan. His family later moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where he grew up. In 2001, he moved to Baxley, Georgia, where he worked as a beekeeper at Spell Bee Company, currently known as Gardner Apiaries. He worked at the Georgia Baptist Children’s Home for six years as he earned his welding degree. He made the decision to pursue a career in EMS as he became an EMT-I. His constant love of learning caused him to further his schooling in the field as he became a paramedic, earning his state and national license. Chris’ servant’s heart saw his fifteen years in EMS as a ministry and calling. He’s had the privilege of serving alongside other equally dedicated men and women in the following county agencies: Toombs, Telfair, Appling, Wayne, McIntosh, Tattnall, and most recently Coffee Regional EMS.
Chris found joy in making lifelong memories with family and friends, whether it was at his house while he cooked a delicious meal, hunting, fishing, golfing, or going to the races. Anyone who had the privilege of being fed by Chris knows he was a very talented cook and how much he loved it. He truly loved taking “his girls” on many new adventures and seeing them enjoy themselves.
His greatest love was his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Chris was open about his faith and willingly shared the gospel. He deeply desired for others to receive the forgiveness and salvation he had been given through the blood of Jesus Christ. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his unborn son, Christopher Michael Peck Jr., Paternal Grandparents Kenneth and Shirley Peck, Maternal Grandparents Gene and Shirley Gardner, Uncle John Peck, Stepmother Pam Monteleone, Cousins Mikey Gardner and James Gardner, Mother-in-Law Julie Hutcheson, Sister-in-Law Kay Harrelson, and “other daughter” Jessi Stallings.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Hutcheson Peck, who he lovingly referred to as Angel, daughters Bailey Rebekah and Ema’lee Grace Peck, mother and stepfather Dianna and Dale Corbett, father and special friend Mike Peck and Lorrie Waring, sister Somere (PJ) Jaillet, “chosen brothers” Joel Weidman and Jason Pearce, Uncle Mark (Lhassa) Gardner, Aunt Debbie (Steve) Parker, sister in laws Jill (Craig) Pittman and Stacey Gibson, brother in laws Charles (Diane) Hutcheson, Kenny (Pam) Hutcheson, and Paul Harrelson, nieces Ashlin and Zayleigh Jaillet, Cierra Stallings, other cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many friends whom he loved dearly. Other special people include Samantha and JJ.
Visitation was at Nobles Funeral Home at 1:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service that followed. Brother Rick Brown, Shaun Lewis, and Rusty Lovett officiated.
Family and friends were asked to wear anything other than black. Since Chris loved hunting, fishing, Florida Gators, and Georgia Bulldogs, people were free to wear anything related to those themes.
