ELOISE CROSBY BULLARD

Eloise Crosby Bullard, 97, of Baxley passed away Thursday, October 29, 2026 at The Pavilion under the care of Comfort Care Hospice.
Ms. Bullard was born July 9, 1929 in Appling County to the late Lawton Monroe Crosby and the late Luna Stone Crosby. She was employed at Eros in Hazlehurst before making a twenty-year career with the United States Postal Service in Baxley as a rural route letter carrier. She was a member of Consolation Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin B. Bullard, and brothers, Basil J. Crosby, Monroe Crosby, and G. C. Crosby.
Survivors include her son, Lawton Bullard of Baxley, special friend, Betty Jean Simpson, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held Sunday, November 1, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Consolation Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Rick Brown and Rev. Stan Taylor officiated, and interment followed in Graham United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Stan Deen, Mark Peacock, Mickey Crosby, Levi Hale, Charles Stone, and Hunter Tomberlin.
Honorary pallbearers were the staff of Comfort Care Hospice.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
