The following arrests were reported in Baxley and Appling County from July 11 to July 16.
On July 11, the Baxley Police Department (BPD) arrested Daronte Deleon Jones, 48 of Atlanta, on the charges of tampering with evidence- felony, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers- misdemeanor, forgery- 3rd degree (felony), conspiracy to commit a felony, and theft of possession of stolen mail.
July 11, the BPD arrested Mario Harris, 44 of Atlanta, on the charges of crossing state/county guard lines with weapons, intoxicants, drugs without conse, marijuana- possess less than 1 oz., conspiracy to commit a felony, and possession of a schedule I controlled substance.
July 11, the BPD arrested Michael David Ecker, 43 and homeless, on the charges of theft by deception- felony, conspiracy to commit a felony, theft or possession of stolen mail, possession of a schedule II-controlled substance, possession and use of drug related objects, and four counts forgery- 3rd degree (felony).
July 13, the Appling County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) arrested Fentress Marquez McNeal, 28 of Baxley, on the charge of driving while license suspended or revoked (misdemeanor).
July 14, the BPD arrested George Carlos Gardner, 43 of Jonesborrow, on the charges of driving while license suspended or revoked (misdemeanor), expired vehicle tag or decal or no tag, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain, sale, distribution, or possession of dangerous drugs, theft by receiving stolen property- felony, trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana, or methamphetamine, two counts possession and use of drug related objects, and four counts possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
July 14, the ACSO housed Montavious Adams, 28 of Valdosta, for Long County Sheriff’s Office.
July 14, the BPD arrested Regina Roach, 49 of Dublin, on the charges of crossing state/county guard lines with weapons, intoxicants, drugs without conse, drugs not in original container- misdemeanor, marijuana- possess less than 1 oz., possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain, sale of a schedule III, IV or V controlled substance, sale, distribution, or possession of dangerous drugs, theft by receiving stolen property- misdemeanor, two counts of possession and use of drug related objects, and three counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
July 14, the BPD arrested Devante Darnell Taylor, 34 of Mount Vernon, on the charges of drugs not in original container- misdemeanor, possession of a firearm or knife during commission of or attempt to commit certain, sale, distribution, or possession of dangerous drugs, theft by receiving stolen property- felony, trafficking in cocaine, illegal drugs, marijuana, or methamphetamine, two counts possession and use of drug related objects, two counts willful obstruction of law enforcement officers- misdemeanor, and four counts of possession of a schedule II controlled substance.
July 14, the ACSO arrested Martin Hernandez Ramirez, 40 of Baxley, on the charges of driving without a valid license (misdemeanor) and speeding 56-75/ 55 zone.
July 14, the BPD arrested Altavis Jer’Mez McMillian, 18 of Surrencey, on the charge of battery.
July 15, the ACSO arrested Kendrell Joenel Heidt, 42 of Brunswick, on the charges of driving on wrong side of the road, driving while license suspended or revoked (misdemeanor), failure to drive within single lane, failure to obey traffic control device, reckless driving, speeding 81-999 / 35 zone, speeding 91-999/ 45 zone, and two counts speeding 100-999/ 55 zone.
July 15, the ACSO arrested Jacob Ty Craven, 27 of Baxley, on the charge of probation violation (when probation terms are altered) for fingerprintable charge.
July 15, the ACSO arrested Maliyah Jackson, 20 of Alexander, Alabama, on the charge of willful obstruction of law enforcement officers- misdemeanor.
July 15, the ACSO arrested Evelyn Ruth Richards, 40 of Alexander, Alabama, on the charges of driving while license suspended or revoked (misdemeanor) and speeding 56-60/ 45 zone.
July 16, the ACSO housed Tavon Orlos Williams, 41 and homeless, for Long County Sheriff’s Office.
July 16, the ACSO arrested Jamie Chloe Chitty, 31 of Baxley, on the charge of 6 Day Sanction.
