The Appling County Middle School FFA Wildlife Team, under the direction of Coach Ricky Barnes, took 1st place out of 23 schools at the area contest held at Wayne County High School on December 4, 2025. The team will be advancing to the state level competition to compete against the top 12 teams in Georgia on February 6th & 7th in Perry.
