Cindy Spivey

Cindy Spivey, 64, passed away Sunday, June 29, 2025, surrounded by her family and under the care of Comfort Care Hospice. Cindy was born on May 23, 1961, to the late Lloyd and Ruth Myers and has been a resident of Appling County for the past thirty-four years. She was a longtime employee of Wright’s Dairy, a strong, independent woman, and a loving mother and grandmother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Myers.
Surviving are her two children, Amanda Presley and husband Ben and Kevin Spivey and wife Taylor both of Baxley; grandchildren, Taylor Hutto and husband Kyle, Amya Gibbs, Brennan Presley, Haven Taylor, and numerous step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Lewis Myers of Rochelle, and sister, Angel Myers of South Carolina.

A graveside funeral service was held Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. at the Red Oak Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Lamar Lee officiating.
Active Pallbearers are Kevin Spivey, Stephens Ivester, Kyle Hutto, and Austin Martin.

Honorary Pallbearers are the staff of Comfort Care Hospice, Wright’s Dairy, J. Heirs Company, Southern Medicine, and Henry Morris.
