Jason Redius Spell

Jason Redius Spell, 51, passed away June 26,2025, at Bacon County Hospital, after an extended illness. He was born in Bacon County, June 01, 1974, to Redius Spell and Lynette Smith Spell of Alma. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Roswell and Edna Pearl Smith; paternal grandparents, Early and Mildred Spell.

He was a member of Southside Church of God.

Survivors include two daughters, Kaitlyn Spell Lynn (Jared) of Blackshear and Jaycee Nicole Spell (Slade Godwin) of Blackshear; and their mother, Jennifer Spell of Blackshear; four grandchildren, Chloe, Zoe, Eli, and Willow Lynn; two sisters, Paula Hatten (James) of Alma and Pamela Ricko (Thomas) of Florida; three nieces, Ashlee Barber (Adam) and Kierston Ricko; nephews, Tyler Jordan (Macey), Matthew Grantham (Elizabeth), and Trey Ricko (Liddy); six great- nephews, Koah, Nash, and Ace Barber, Myles Jordan, Mason and Hudson Grantham; one great-niece, Bentlee Jordan; a host of Aunts and Uncles also survive.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, July 1, 2025, at Elizabeth Chapel Church Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. with the Rev. David Deen officiating.
Crosby Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
