Timothy Randy McKenzie

Timothy Randy McKenzie, 62, passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at the WellStar Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta.

Timothy was preceded in death by his father, Rudolph Hooks and mother, Montell (Mills) Hooks.

Timothy was born and lived in Toombs County most of his life until the past few years, where he was a resident at Appling Nursing and Rehabilitation Pavilion in Baxley. Throughout his life, he worked in the private sector providing medical transport for patients.

Survivors include his sister, Carol Williams (Ricky) of Baxley, two brothers, Rick McKenzie (Francisca) of Baxley, and Jerry McKenzie (Debbie) of Vidalia. He is also survived by four nieces and nephews, along with several great nieces and nephews. Timothy is also survived by a special young man that he helped raise, Cary Phillips (Sylvana) and their four children of Vidalia.

The family will gather for a private memorial service at a later date.
