Royce Yawn

Royce Yawn, 86, of Bristol passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025 at The Pavilion in Baxley.
Mr. Yawn was born April 27, 1939, in Hazlehurst to the late George Clinton (Bossy) Yawn and the late Georgia Mae (Carter) Yawn. He was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the VFW Club. He worked as a truck driver for Bax Steel and a dependable and dedicated employee of BRY Farms. Mr. Yawn is preceded in death by seven sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Frances D. Yawn of Bristol; sons, Russell (Glenda) Hilton of Blackshear, Ronnie (Susan) Hilton of Blackshear, Ken (Elaine) Hilton of Chapin, SC, Keith (Henrietta) Hilton of Baxley, and Bruce (Rena) Yawn of Bristol; sisters, Gwen (James Edward) Turner of Baxley and Judy (Smitty) Williams of Surrency; brother, Randy (Janice) Yawn of Baxley; and ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A special family friend, Linda Moody of Baxley also survives.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with the Rev. Justin McLellan officiating. Interment followed in Antioch Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Cody Hilton, Dakota Hilton, Cody Nicol, Joe Harris, Don Mark Webb, Andrew Hilton, and Jay Nuss.
Honorary pallbearers were all family and friends in attendance.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
