Janice Lee Watson

Janice Lee Watson, 60, of Odum passed away Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Southeast Georgia Health in Brunswick.

Mrs. Watson was born November 29, 1964 in Lewiston, NY to the late James Harbison and the late Marilyn Lozzi Harbison.  She was a devoted wife and mother. Mrs. Watson was a dedicated nurse who cared for patients with special needs and was the Resident Service Director for At Home Senior Living.

Survivors include her husband, Ronald Lee Watson of Odum; daughters, Abigail Grace Watson and Lacee Rose Watson both of Odum and Kristin Lee Hill of Waycross; sisters, Susan Gorman and Denise Ceaver both of Ransomville, NY; and a brother, Daniel Harbison of Ransomville, NY. Three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held Friday, May 9, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Jerry Lightsey and a eulogy by Janie Ryan. Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Skip Couch, Jason Conrad, Alex Poole, Brian King, Justin Griffis and Brent Young.

Honorary pallbearers were the family, friends, and staff of At Home Senior Living.

Musical selections were rendered by Raven Moseley.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
