Bessie Taylor

Bessie Taylor, 64, passed away Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Memorial Health Meadows in Vidalia. Bessie was born September 2, 1960, in Appling County to the late J.L. and Wanell Bohannon Taylor, and was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Jimmy Taylor, Jeanette Jackson, Genetha Kamalakis, and Genell Lord, and her nephew, Jimmy Shane Taylor. Surviving is her fiancé, Alvin Clark of Baxley; siblings, George Taylor and wife Shirley of Hazlehurst, Lenora Anderson of Graham, and Gail Kamalakis of Hazlehurst, and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service was held Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at 2:00 P.M. from the Nobles Funeral Home chapel with the Reverend Randy Manning and Sister Virginia Herrington officiating. Interment followed in the Graham Methodist Church Cemetery. The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Active Pallbearers were Jeffery Taylor, Davy Jones, Jeremy Eason, Jamie Dyal, Juan Perez, Jerry Hampton, and Josh Craven. Nobles Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Bessie Taylor.
