Pauline Lewis Dean

     Pauline Lewis Dean, 89, of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away Monday, March 24, 2025 at Memorial Health in Savannah.
     Mrs. Dean was born April 23, 1935 in Appling County to the late Clarance Barry Lewis and the late Virginia Stephenson Lewis. She was a cashier for 56 years at Winn Dixie in Pompano Beach. She was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with family and friends making lasting memories together.
     Mrs. Dean was preceded in death by her husband, James Wesley Dean; a daughter, Paula Calverio; and siblings, Howard Lewis, Carolyn Williams, C. B. Lewis, Jr., Annie R. Johnson Unger, and Earl D. Lewis.
Survivors include her daughter, Pamela Kopf of Springfield, and Martha Mincey of Rome; sisters, Juanita Lewis Bedell of Eustis, FL and Jennett Lewis Schooley of Fort Pierce, FL; grandchildren, Leah McCarthy, Carrie Shotko, Jadelyn Kopf, and Melissa Kopf; great grandchildren, Staci, Katie, Jack, Chloe, Cole, Jackie and Jody; and several loving nieces and nephews also survive.
     Funeral services were held Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home. Interment followed in Ten Mile Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
     Active pallbearers were Chris Labonte, Eddie Bedell, Don Schooley, Robert Schooley, Laraime Jacobs, and Gary Brown.
     Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
