Appling County High School is excited to announce the Appling County High School Pirate Brigade is the 2023 Sound of Silver Grand Champions. The band competed at Pierce County High School on Saturday, October 14, and brought home the top award with an overall score of 95.5.
The band was also the winner of Best Band in Class AAAA, Best Drum Major in Class AAAA, Best Auxiliary in Class AAAA, and percussion Second in Class AAAA. The band earned all superior ratings while bringing home the top award.
Congratulations to the students and staff for helping to set the ‘STANDARD’ for Appling County High School.
