DAKYSIA LYNEE FLOYD

DaKysia Lynee Floyd was born on February 25,1977, to the late Randell Mincey and Bernice Brazell. She entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 13.
Dakysia was educated in the Appling County School System . She graduated with the Appling County High School class of 1996. At an early age she joined Greater Zachariah Missionary Baptist Church under the distinct leadership of Dr. C.L. Anderson. Dakysia was a faithful and dedicated housekeeper at Holiday Inn. She also worked as a certified nursing assistant. She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall Mincey and Bernice Brazell.
DaKysia leaves to cherish her memory with her husband, Tracy Floyd; children: Fentrezz Marquez McNeal, Tytiana Amelia McNeal, and Kenneth Williams; grandchildren: M’azin McNeal and Fentress Smith; Stephmother, Maybell Mincey; brother, Jeffery Brazell; sisters: Nicole (Bryant) Carter, Martene Mincey, Alexis Mincey, and Ada Mae Jolly; special niece, Vantasia Brazell; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and sorrowing friends.
A funeral service was held on August 22 at Life Cathedral Mission in Baxley Minister Peggy Fletcher Presided over the service, and Pastor Tabitha Clements was the Eulogist. Musical selections were performed by Lance Newkirk and Minister Peggy Fletcher. Pallbearers for the service were Larry Griner, Jr., Ezekiel Gilber, Bryant Carter, David Wyman, Dale Jolly, and Deshwn Johnson. The internment was held at the Macon Cemetery in Lyons.
Professional services were entrusted to C.M. Brown Funeral Home.
