STEVEN WILTON SPELL

Steven Wilton Spell, 52, of Baxley passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at his residence.
Steven was born on December 11, 1973 in Appling County to the late Wilton Spell and the late Gerri Revels Spell. He was a member of Big Oaks Church of God and a machinist and electrician. Steven was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. But his greatest love was his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sheryl Spell Lawrence, son, Christopher Staines and a cousin, Jason Spell.
Survivors include his wife, Tamara Spell; children, Shelby Spell, Taira Shea Sims, Shayla Sellers, Amber Clark, Tyler Spell, and Carlin (Kimberlin) Ray; sister, Shelly (Daniel) McNeal; and several grandchildren also survive.
A celebration of life was held Monday, July 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. Darron Jackson and Rev. Bryan Gill officiating.
Musical selections were rendered by Rev. Bryan Gill and Ethan Hutchinson.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
