MARTIN RAY CRAPPS

Martin Ray Crapps, 76, of Baxley passed away Sunday, March 8, 2026 at his residence.
Mr. Crapps was born on March 6, 1950 in Seattle, Washington to the late Thomas Horace Crapps and the late Loretta Marie Herbert Crapps.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and was retired from Rayonier/Interfor.  Mr. Crapps enjoyed coaching the Appling County 4-H BB Team, participating in the Cattleman’s Association, assisting many community farmers and attending all his grandson’s events and activities.
Survivors include his daughters, Michelle Crapps and Allison Williams, both of Baxley; son, Jared Crapps of Baxley; and one grandson, Kade Crapps also survived.
A private service was held Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Miles Chapel Church with Rev. Robbie Tomberlin officiating. A graveside service followed in Miles Family Cemetery with Kade Crapps officiating.
Active pallbearers were Bruce Esquinaldo, Tommie Esquinaldo, Matt Butler, Mark Gallagher, Justin Wilcox and Dustin Horne.
Honorary pallbearers were Ronald Wilcox, Kelly Serafini, Danny Cauley, Johnnie Anderson, Bobby Huddleston and Kevin Huddleston.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Swain Funeral Home.
