Anybody with two eyes in their head can see a storm is brewing. Not a physical storm but a worldly storm. The Bible tells us of many things that will take place in the last days. We are seeing that play out right before our eyes. The U.S. dollar is being destroyed, and prices on everything are out of sight. Our dollar was once backed by gold and silver, but in 1971, President Richard Nixon changed the rules of money. The U.S. dollar ceased being money and became a currency. It was then a Federal Reserve Note; basically an IOU from the U.S. government. There are so many IOU’s out there, the reality of paying them back is next to impossible. The United States is not the largest debtor nation in history. We need to understand this because history always repeats itself.
“If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their money, first by inflation and then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of their property until their children will wake up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.” This quote has been attributed to Thomas Jefferson. Regardless of the source, the words capture a thought consistent with his viewpoint. He saw the writing on the wall and fought and warned about the creation of the Federal Reserve or any private bank that would control the United States money. Now here we are living just that. The collapse of the U.S. dollar and rebuilding with digital currency is part of the plan. Cash is hard to trace and control, but digital or fiat currency puts people under the government’s thumb. All fiat currencies eventually go belly up and the countries that produce them.
Something horrible has happened here in this nation, and it is showing up all over the world. People think that just because we are the greatest country in the world, and because God loves this country so much, He will not allow us to go through persecution. God’s throne is not draped in red, white, and blue. We cannot use that as an excuse for inaction. Noah built an ark to prepare for the rain (God did not build it for him). Joseph spent seven plentiful years storing up for seven years of famine. These men had “parachutes” for their protection during these coming emergencies. They listened to warnings from God and took action. They experienced falls but their landings were safe. They did what they knew to do and left the rest up to God. In each of those stories, it took years of preparation and did not happen overnight. However, anything you can do now will take you one step closer to being able to endure the coming storm.
