What is entitlement? It is something we are seeing in our society that stretches across all socioeconomic classes. Entitlement is defined as a psychological state of belief that one inherently deserves special treatment, privileges, or recognition without having earned them. It will manifest as arrogance, lack or empathy, and anger when they do not get their way or what they want. Entitled people believe the rules do not apply to them, are not responsible for their actions, and they believe they should not have to face any consequences for anything that has been done.
Entitlement and the weakening of society are first cousins, and they go hand in hand. In your lower socioeconomic classes, you have some (not all) that think the government is their “baby daddy” and should be provided with everything at the taxpayers’ expense. They are government spoiled brats who do not think they have to work for anything. These folks do not want to be responsible for their life decisions. On the other hand, you have rich entitled brats who have nothing to do, and everything has been handed to them on a silver platter. A lot of these either end up in politics or fighting for bogus social justice causes. I for one am sick of them both because at the end of the day the entitled upper class is fighting for social justices that enable the entitled lower class to remain in the system and not learn to do better. This is all at the expense of the working middle class.
Entitlement makes people across the board weak. Society is getting weaker with each generation. The middle class works and bears the tax burden, but they are creating a weaker generation of children by not making them earn their way like generations before them. During Sunday School this past Sunday the man teaching the class told how he and his wife met at 14 and 15 years old working in the tobacco field. He said that is how they earned the money to buy their clothes and shoes. That is not cruel, but instead built work ethic and appreciation for a dollar and what you have. Very few of our politicians (not all) know about this way of life as they come from the rich entitled brat class. Some of the most entitled people are working in our government.
Somewhere along the way our taxes stopped being about infrastructure and other public needs but exist to sustain worthless politicians and their cronies. Money is taken from the working class, filtered through Washington, and handed back to the favored few. A system built to serve itself has forfeited the right to exist. It is time we the people stop being a weakened society and stand up and fight against this entitlement. Put those that are able bodied to work and vote the lazy crooked politicians out.
The Bible says in Thessalonians 3:10, “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you: if any would not work, neither let him eat.”
