JohnsonFloyd LLP announces the addition of two new attorneys in its law office at 132 West Parker Street, Baxley, joining existing partners Alex Johnson and Graham Floyd.
Madeline Rentz-Tucker has relocated from Tifton, where she was associated with a law firm with offices in Albany, Tifton, Savannah and Valdosta. She is a product of the Appling County School System, University of Georgia, and Mercer Law School. Her experience in the areas of estate planning (including wills, trusts and tax considerations), probate, real estate, business and related matters will enhance the firm’s existing practice in this space. Madeline is the daughter of Brad and Holley Johnson Rentz, of Baxley, and is married to Matt Tucker.
Andrew Peacock attended Pierce County High School and Georgia Southern University, and is a recent graduate of the University of Georgia School of Law, having been sworn in as member of the State Bar of Georgia on October 2. Andrew has clerked with JohnsonFloyd the past two summers, and his focus will be on general litigation including personal injury, divorce, criminal, and land and business disputes. Andrew is the son of Rev. Andy and Tara Peacock of Blackshear.
JohnsonFloyd originated with Alex Johnson’s practice established in Baxley in January 1978, with Graham Floyd having joined the firm in 2009. The firm maintains a general business, litigation, property, administrative, banking and probate practice throughout southeast Georgia. Alex and Graham welcome Madeline and Andrew as they position the firm for the future.
