Liar Liar is a comedic film starring Jim Carrey. He plays the role of a successful attorney. He has a young son named Max, who he is always making empty promises that he never follows through on. Max’s birthday comes around, and he makes a wish that his Daddy would no longer be able to tell a lie. You can imagine how hard that would be for a successful cutthroat lawyer. His wish came true, and the entire movie is about him trying to do his swindling and dirty lawyer act without telling any lies. It was a disaster for him and his clients in the courtroom.
I was thinking about this, and the thought came to mind: what if this happened to everyone? When we think of liars, we think of the usual suspects such as criminals, politicians, and dirty lawyers. When you sit and think about society as a whole, you start to realize everything is based on a lie in one way or another. They may not all be considered bad lies in light of the others, but many are so called harmless little white lies. It starts when our children are small with Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the Tooth Fairy, and so on. These lies are for make-believe fun with children, but it is still a lie, and you eventually must tell them the truth as they get older, or they find out from someone else. If parents could not tell harmless little white lies to their kids parenting could be rough!
On the other hand, we have the lying politicians who speak out both sides of their mouths. What if they could not tell a lie? Oh, happy day that would be! If a liar’s pants really did catch on fire, Washington D.C. would burn to the ground. So many of them make empty promises to we the people to get elected and never follow through with them. In the movie, Jim Carrey knows his client is in the wrong, but he is trying to get the guilty wife awarded all of her husband’s money in a divorce. He cannot lie, so he ends up exposing his client for the dirty cheating person she is, and the husband wins the case. That reminds me of what the Democrats tried to do to President Trump. Now that the truth is coming out about the Steele Dossier, that Hillary Clinton bought and paid for, thus began a conspiracy between former President Obama, FBI Director James Comey, Robert Mueller, and many more. This led to an all-out judicial tyranny against President Trump, all based on a lie. The truth is finally coming out, and President Trump has been vindicated and as the scripture says, “you shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.”
Now all the Democratic coconspirators are lined up to march up Haman’s Gallows. In the book of Ester, Haman was trying to get Ester’s Uncle Mordecai hung because of his jealousy and hatred. The gallows that Haman had built for Mordecai became the gallows upon which he himself was hung. So, it is with these democratic co-conspirators. They are now under investigation for the lies they told. Just like in the movie, their lies are being exposed, and they are facing the consequences of their dishonesty. These democratic coconspirators are now facing the very gallows that they had prepared for Trump.
