Patrick Rendell Thomas

Patrick Rendell Thomas, a beloved husband, father, son, and friend to many, was born September 10, 1976 to Cheryl O’Banner and Carl Williams, Sr.

Patrick was educated in the Appling County School System and spent the majority of his life in Baxley, Georgia. He then relocated to Troy, Alabama. He resided there until his untimely passing. He often spent time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed relaxing at home and eating snacks while tuning into his food competition and car racing shows.

Patrick transitioned into eternal rest on June 7, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Williams, Sr.; grandparents: Arthur and Verdell Williams, James and Marjorie Thomas; uncle, Richard Thomas, Jr.; aunt, Brenda Dunlap; and sister, Jenneane Manigault.

Loving and wonderful memories of Patrick will remain in the hearts of his wife of thirty years,: Sabrena Thomas; children:  Kenyatta Jones (Dominique), Keiana Thomas, and Kiara Thomas; grandchildren: Ja’Ceon Daniels, Lauryn Monfiston, and Teagan Hall; siblings: Gary Jones, Sherman Thomas (Terrilyn), Carl Williams, Jr. (Bridgett), Jennifer Williams, Kimberly Roberts (Timmy), and Shalette O’Banner Allen; godsister: Wanda Mann (Terry); mother-in-law: May Sanders; in-laws: Paul White (Lisa),  Regina Doyle,  Andrea White (Echo), and Paula Sanders; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 14, at Greater Faith Temple Church of God in Christ. Repast followed in the Isle of Hope Cemetary located in Uvalda.

Active Pallbearers were Nick Harris, Shannon Harris, Richard Thomas, Jr., Dexter Hall, Barry Burch, Jaron Cowart, and Sherrod Thomas. Honorary Pallbearer was Edward Rayner.

Musical selections were rendered by the Greater Faith Temple Choir, and Jefthor Williams, Jr.
Pastor Norris Williams officiated and offered words of comfort.

Professional services were rendered by Baxley Funeral Home.
