Edward Milton Gibson

Edward Milton Gibson, 77, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2025, at Lee County Health and Rehabilitation. Ed was born on October 2, 1947, in Appling County and lived most of his adult life in Leesburg, and later moved to Albany, where he spent the remaining years. Ed participated with the adults in the special needs living program, he loved to work, go to church, and watch cowboy movies.

Ed is preceded in death by his parents, father, Mr. Raymond M. Gibson, and mother, Mary Lou Campbell Gibson, his brother, Raymond M. Gibson, Jr.
Survivors include two brothers, John W. (Bud) Gibson (Mae) of Leesburg, Paul T. Gibson (Diane) of Dadeville, Alabama, Nephew, Chad W. Gibson of Salt Lake City, Utah, Niece, Crystal Gibson Youmans (Davy), of Leesburg, Great Nieces, Olivia Youmans and Mary Youmans both of Leesburg, along with many other cousins and beloved family.

A graveside funeral service was held Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Ten Mile Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers were family members.
