Most of us have heard the saying dirty hands mean clean money. This saying is very true. In a world of technology, it is very easy to make money online as an influencer and other nonsense such as that. I personally would rather go home every day with dirty hands knowing I worked hard doing honest work to earn my money. If I did not earn it by my own hard work, I do not want it. Sadly, the world we live in does not see things this way. While there has always been dirty money being made, the internet has made this much easier.
There are many people who have a lot of money that on the surface looks like it was earned by working, but in reality, the bulk of it was made dirty by underhanded deeds. At the end of the day that kind always comes with a high price that must be paid. The root cause of all the problems we have in society is sin. This is the sin of greed. The Bible tells us the love of money (not money itself) is the root of all evil. Greed will cause someone to kill, steal, and destroy anything or anybody that gets in the way of their dirty money.
I was taught that nothing comes for free, you work hard for everything you have, and never seek handouts. God sees everything we do, and He is a good record keeper. What is done in the dark eventually comes to light. There will be a lot of governmental people on all levels who will have some answering to do for what they have done one day. DOGE is doing a good job uncovering a lot of this, but there is much more that has not been brought to light yet. This is why the left is fighting so hard to keep DOGE from doing its job.
The sale of drugs, weapons, and sadly humans is big business as well as gambling on illegal blood sports which include animal and underground human fighting. In my mind, you are greedy and lazy to make money like this instead of by your own hard work. When you have earned dirty money no amount of giving back to the community or good deeds will wipe that money clean. In the end it is stained with the blood of the innocent in one way or another. For example, whosoever is involved in selling drugs all the blood of all the people whose lives have been ruined or have died is on their hands.
In a world of online everything and social media, many people would rather make money going viral selling themselves in many different ways. Where is the integrity in that? I would much rather be known for integrity, work ethic, and honesty than cheapening myself to that level. We do not need influencers, instead we need plumbers, electricians, welders, carpenters, mechanics, nurses, and the list goes on and on. The country music singer and patriot Aaron Tippin sang in his song I Got It Honest “When I die I may not leave my kids a fortune, but I hope they know that my life stood for the things that were important. I’ll hand down the same sturdy old values of my Daddy and my Mama. It made me every ounce of what I am and I got it honest.” That perfectly describes how I feel about this subject matter.
