Arnie Sue Crosby

 

Mrs. Arnie Sue Crosby, 75, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025, at McRae Manor Nursing Home. She was born June 28, 1949, in Appling County to the late Herbert and Orita Thomas. Mrs. Crosby was a lifelong Appling County resident and a retired employee with Douglas and Harper. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church and a devoted wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Otto Crosby, and siblings, Jim Thomas, Gail Hollifield, Lajuan Perry, and Janie Baxley.

Survivors include her daughter, Tammy and husband Larry Wells; grandchildren, Sierra and husband Blake Myres and Jordan Wells; siblings, Mary Spell, Kathy Russell, and Joel Ray and wife Darlene Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Nobles Funeral Home, with the Reverend Wayne Williamson officiating.

A committal service followed in the Midway Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active Pallbearers were family.
