Glenn A. Hutcherson

Glenn A. Hutcherson, 66, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital in Augusta. Glenn was born February 8, 1959, in Albany, GA, to the late Roger G. and Audrey Norris Hutcherson. He was a 1977 Appling County High School graduate and a forty-six-year employee of Southern Nuclear, beginning his career at Plant Hatch before transferring to Plant Vogtle. Glenn was a Zion Missionary Baptist Church member and an avid motorcycle rider, traveling cross country and enjoying the mountains of North Georgia and the Carolinas.

Survivors include his brother, Paul and wife Patsy Hutcherson; nephews, Shannon and wife Eva Hutcherson and Eric and wife Chelsea Hutcherson; great niece, M.E. Hutcherson; and cousins, Carole Carter and David and wife Derita Carter.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. from Zion Missionary Baptist Church with the Reverend James Minick and Reverend Brad Park officiating.

Interment followed in the church cemetery.

Visitation was held one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at Zion Missionary Baptist Church.

Serving as Active Pallbearers were Randy Roberson, Max Roberson, Tim Haynes, Ted Kicklighter, Greg Kicklighter and Joe Taylor.

Honorary Pallbearers were all in attendance.
