MAMIE GRACE “TINA” WILLIAMS

Mamie Grace “Tina” Williams, 84, of Baxley passed away Friday, August 21, 2026 at the Bacon County Hospital.
Mrs. Williams was born April 25, 1942 in Bacon County to the late Clinton Taylor and the late Grace Bryant Taylor. She was a retired nurse and a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams was known as a caregiver, always serving and helping others. She had a deep passion for her family, her many fur babies, and her church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Mose Williams, brothers, Chester Taylor, Jimmy “Bud” Taylor, Roy Taylor, and Ronnie Taylor, and sisters, Letha Anderson and Suzie Welch.
Survivors include her daughters, Jan (Scott) Kelly of Jacksonville, Florida, Monica Wilson and Heather (Matt) Fisher both of Baxley; granddaughter, Stacie Peeples of Jacksonville Beach, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday, August 24, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Justin McLellan and Rev. John Daughtry officiating. Eulogies were rendered by Scott Kelly and Millie Conaway. Interment followed in Zion Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Chad Taylor, Brad Taylor, Jordan Taylor, Ricky Weaver, Randy Weaver, and Keegan Alls.
Honorary pallbearers were members of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Musical selections were rendered by Cheryl Weaver, Tina Smith, and Keegan Alls.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
