VANCE YAWN

Vance Yawn, 64, of Baxley passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in Savannah under the care of Georgia Hospice.
Vance was born May 3, 1961 in Baxley to the late Vance Joseph Yawn and the late Donnell Sellers Yawn. He was a truck driver for Triple A Cooper and was a Veteran of the United States Army. Vance loved his family and especially his grandchildren and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Yawn.
Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Cathy Yawn of Baxley; daughters, Hannah (William) Bailey of Baxley and Kalie Hampton of Warner Robins; son, Joseph (Brooke) Bell of Baxley; sisters, Shirley Braswell and Donna Kay Sellers both of Baxley and brother, Mitchell Yawn of Hazlehurst. Eight grandchildren, Liam Bailey, Alec Bailey, Clinton Bell, Zoe Bell, Brooklyn Arthur, David Arthur, River Arthur, and Koda Bell; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
A celebration of life was held Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Military Honors.
Arrangements were under the direction of Swain Funeral Home.
