Carol Charlotte Tucker

Mrs. Carol Charlotte Tucker, 72, passed away Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Appling Healthcare after an extended illness. Carol was a resident of Appling County, and she loved Jesus and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, as well as her cats and dogs. She loved working with plants and flowers, sewing, and music. She especially loved her nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Tucker is preceded in death by her husband, Charles David Tucker; her father, Enoch Harrelson; and niece, Danille Tomberlin Hughes.

Survivors include her mother, Carol June Harrelson; sisters, Kay Harrelson and Joy Tomberlin; her aunt, Emma Jean H. Collins; her nephews, Tohn Herrin, Jake Herrin, Thomas Herrington, Jared Herrin, and Ebbin Herrington; and her nieces, Erica Hall, Katie Herrin, and Emma Herrington; along with many cousins.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 A.M., with visitation an hour prior to the service in the chapel of Nobles Funeral Home, with the Reverend Wayne Williamson officiating.

Interment followed in Omega Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Tohn Herrin, Mark Durrence, DeWayne Harrelson, Johnny Durrence, Thomas Herrin, and Justin Kirkland.

Honorary Pallbearers were all in attendance.

In lieu of flowers, a contribution should be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
