Queen E. Kitchen

Mrs. Queen E. Kitchen of Appling County, Georgia passed away peacefully on October 8, 2025, at Savannah Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 18, 1945, to the late Melvin and Elmina Paulk. Queen was a devoted member of First Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully attended worship services, Sunday School, and Bible Study. She made it her mission to take children to church every Sunday, ensuring they learned about faith and the importance of serving the Lord. Her greatest desire was to see everyone grow in their relationship with God and remain active in the church community. Her faith, compassion, and generosity touched the lives of everyone who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Willie E. Kitchen, and her siblings Melvin Paulk, Lester Paulk, Carnell Paulk, Milton Paulk, Alondia Howell, Sandra Paulk, and Rozell Paulk.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving brothers and sisters: Robert (Betty Jean) Paulk, Lennis Paulk, Donnette Paulk, Perlie (Joanna) Paulk, and Elanie (Darrin) Wooten, all of Baxley, GA; Dale Paulk of Griffin, GA; and Mitchell (Floretta) Paulk of Ellabella, GA. She also leaves behind her bonus daughters, Greta Paulk of Baxley, GA and Misty Howell of Bartow, FL along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Queen will be remembered for her strong faith, her loving heart, and her encouragement for everyone to go to church. Her legacy of love, faith, and service will continue to inspire all who were blessed to know her.
