Joseph Howard Sannutti

Mr. Joseph (Joe) Howard Sannutti, 71, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at The Corvettes of Carlisle Show in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, doing what he loved. Joe was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and later moved to Baxley, Georgia. He was a jack of all trades and a master of a few, a United States Army Veteran, a chaplain for drag racers across the Southeast, and a member of First Assembly of God, where he served many roles.

Preceding him in death are his father, Joe Sannutti; his mother, Jeanne Bowe; brother, Ray Huddleston and sisters, Beverly Huddleston, Val Quigley, and Debby Huddleston.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 50 years, Debbie; son, Joey (Cassey) Sannutti; daughter, Jessi (Matt) Butler; grandchildren, Jessalyn Butler, Landyn Sannutti, Preslee Sannutti, Mattilyn Butler, Tucker Sannutti, and Maxon Butler; great-grandson, Cameron McRae; brothers, Bobby (Missy) Huddleston, Kevin (Debra) Huddleston, Bernie Spence, George (Penny) Spence, Francis (Daniele) Spence, Rich (Karen) Spence; sisters, Betsy Touhill, Michelina (James) Farley, Carol Lallier, Pennie (Joe) Duczkowski, Chrissie D’Amelio, Celia (Ted) Osmola, Tricia (Greg) Tresch; along with a ton of nieces, nephews, and countless honorary children and grandchildren (literally every friend of his kids and grandkids). Joe loved BIG – from the time you met him, you were immediately a part of his family, so you are also a part of this list!

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Baxley Church of God on September 6, at 3:00 p.m. Don’t worry about dressing up, please wear what you would wear when you hung out with Joe; racing shirt, Rat Fink shirt, leather vests, etc.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating in his memory to one of Joe’s three passions: God Speed Ministry, Gideons International, or his lovely wife Debbie.

The staff of Nobles Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Joseph Howard
Sannutti.
