The ACHS Lady Pirate Volleyball team had a great week.
On August 19, the Lady Pirates came away with wins against Brantley and Wayne Counties with scores for both matches at 2-0.
On August 21, the team came within a single set of losing the streak, but they still managed to secure a 2-1 win against their rival Pierce County Bears in front of a tough away crowd at Pierce County High School. The game was the first time the Lady Pirates have beaten the Bears on their court since September 1, 2022.
The JV team also celebrated wins over Valdosta and Brantley County.
The next home games will be against Long and Toombs Counties on Tuesday, September 2. Come out to ACHS and cheer on these athletes during their season. Let’s go Lady Pirates!
