The Pine Forest Garden Club sponsors a poetry contest each year with a garden theme. This year’s theme was “My garden has vegetables to spare that I can share – Help fight hunger by sharing vegetables from our garden.” The students are encouraged to express and explore their creativity through poetry. Shown with PFGC member Cyndy Hatchett are the winners of the poetry contest for the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades.
EIGHTH GRADE WINNERS WERE FINN ANTHONY SMITH, ASH SMITH, ERIKA TENORIO, AND Y’MACULEE WALKER.

SEVENTH GRADE WINNERS WERE BRYLEE WEAVER, ESPY WILLIAMS, PAYTON SCOTT, AND MOLLIE TAYLOR.

SIXTH GRADE WINNERS WERE EMMA PRENCKE AND ANNA BAXLEY.
