Rams Soccer wins conference championship

Middle School Boys Soccer

On Wednesday, March 26, the Appling County Middle School Rams Soccer team defeated Long County Middle School in their conference championship. The Rams went into this match undefeated in conference play on the entire year. The game went into overtime tied 1-1 with a goal by Emiliano Escalante with 13 minutes left in regulation. During the overtime, Emiliano scored the two winning goals, with the first being at the 8:07 mark in the ten-minute period and the second at the 5:04 mark. The Rams defense was able to hold off Long from scoring in overtime, making the final score 3-1. Congratulations Rams and coaches!
