AC Swim Team brings home State Championship

On Friday and Saturday, July 19-20, the Appling County Recreation Department Baracudas swim team competed in the GRPA State Swim meet. In this meet the women’s team clinched second place in the meet, and the men’s division claimed first place out of nine teams. This makes the Baracudas the five-time defending Class C State Champions. The Baracudas were able to bring home 20 first place medals, 21 second place medals, and 20 third place medals in the meet.
