Annie Nell Vann
Annie Nell Vann was born to the late Lester Vann, Sr. and Berthola Vann on September 5, 1955. She graduated from Appling County School. Annie Nell Vann was a faithful and dedicated member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she served as the Adult and Youth Sunday School Teacher. She also loved to sing in the choir. She was employed with Hazlehurst Mills for over 20 years. Annie Nell Vann was a very sweet, caring, loving woman who loved the lord her daughter, son-in-la, and her grand and great grandchildren, along with many family and friends. She was well known in the community by showing love and helping those in need, whatever her hand found to do she did it willingly and freely. God called Annie Nell Vann home on March 2 at 3:18 p.m.
Annie Nell Vann was preceded in death by her parents, and sister Mary Lee Vann. Annie Nell Vann laughed, loved, and her memories will be forever cherished by her daughter Joyce (Jefthor) Williams of Baxley; Five sisters, Ethel Vann of New York, Bertha Vann Sanders of Baxley, Glenda Bell (James-Deceased) of Savannah, Wanda (Reggie, Sr.) Roberts of Baxley, and Sadie Vann of Baxley; Three brothers Lester (Vivian) Vann, Jr., of Baxley, Sammy (Lois) Vann of Fort Myers, FL, and Tony Vann of Baxley. One Aunt, Rena Mae Jones of Midway; One Uncle, Finley Vann of Baxley.
Grandchildren, Jefthor (Tyree) Williams, III, Natoria Williams, Jasmine Williams and Jevon Williams. Great Grandchildren, Jefthor Williams, IV, Nalanai Williams, Jacob Williams, Jeovanni Williams and Namaari Williams. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 8, at Macedonia Baptist Church. Pastor Tony Reynolds officiated, and Missionary Zelene Phillips presided over the service. Musical selections were performed by Greater Faith Temple, and sister Tammy Richburg. Pallbearers for the service were family and friends. An interment was held at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.
Funeral Services were entrusted to C.M. Brown Funeral Home.
