Tonya Eleanor Marie Whitman

Ms. Tonya Eleanor Marie Whitman, 14, born on April 5, 2011, from Baxley, passed away suddenly on November 18, 2025. Tonya enjoyed working with her dad, watching TV, and listening to music. She loved movies and spending time outdoors.

Tonya is preceded in death by her grandfather, George Lawton Calloway, and grandmother, Bethene Baxley.

Survivors include her mother, Sonya Lynn Calloway; father, Wallace Baxley, Jr.; sister, Betheney Baxley; grandfather, Wallace Baxley, Sr.; grandmother, Peggy (Scott) Selph; aunts, Lacy (Freddie) Etters and Mary Hess; uncle, Kevin Baxley; and a cousin, Marty Deloach.

A Cremation service was held on Monday, November 24, 2025. A Celebration of Life will be held privately at a later date. We ask that you keep the family in your prayers as they go through this challenging time.
