The Appling Christian Academy Lady Eagles soared to victory last weekend, capturing the SECC Championship title after a dominant tournament run.
In the opening semifinal matchup against Northside Christian Academy, ACA set the tone early with a commanding 2–0 win. Bella Gray led the charge with 10 kills, two aces, and two blocks. Defensively, Landry Boyett and Annie Hulett each tallied seven digs, while setter Annaleigh Carter contributed eight assists to keep the offense flowing.
The championship showdown against Faith Baptist Christian Academy showcased ACA’s consistency and teamwork. The Lady Eagles swept the match 2–0 behind strong offensive play from Gray, who recorded seven kills, and Hulett, who added six. Both Brailey and Annie Hulett delivered three serving aces apiece, while Boyett anchored the defense with five digs and five assists.
In tournament play, ACA also defeated First Assembly Christian Academy 2–0 to advance, highlighted by Gray’s powerful 17 kills. Carter dished out 10 assists and Brailey Hulett added nine, keeping the Lady Eagles’ attack balanced. Boyett contributed five digs, and Annie Hulett added three aces to round out the team’s all-around effort.
Capping off their undefeated championship run, Annie Hulett, Brailey Hulett, and Bella Gray were named to the SECC All-Tournament Team, recognizing their standout performances throughout the event.
