Harry Wilson Moody

Mr. Harry Wilson Moody, 74, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Harry was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a retired truck driver for DOT Foods, and an avid Cattleman. He was a member of Spring Branch Church and a loving brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Preceding him in death are his father, Howard Wilson Moody; his mother, Betty Joe (Milton) Moody; and his wife, Doris Marie Moody.
Survivors include his daughters, Dawn Watkins of Baxley and Donna Mills (Ed) of Missouri; brothers, Alton Vance (Lynn) Moody of Baxley and Terry James (Sharon) Moody of Baxley; grandchildren, Kyle (Mandi) Krafczyk, Kailee Krafczyk, Keith Krafczyk, and Kylie Krafczyk; and great-grandchildren, Lake Krafczyk, Lyle Krafczyk, Asher Krafczyk, and Kase Krafczyk.
A graveside funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at 1:00 P.M. with a graveside visitation from 12:00–1:00 P.M. at the Asbury Church Cemetery with the Bro. Rick Brown, Bro. Melvin Creamer and Bro. Bryan Gill, officiating.
Active Pallbearers were Lake Krafczyk, Lyle Krafczyk, Bo Moody, Skip Milton, Joe Gardner, and George Milton, Jr.
Honorary Pallbearers were Wendell Carter, Rita Faye Carter, Jordan Long, Michael Stone, Robert Walker, Ruby Jr. Carter, Roy Williamson, Jackie Davis, Danny Sharp, Jackie Jones, Robert Bartles, and Wadis Edwards.
