Clifford David “Pete” Mann

Mr. Clifford David “Pete” Mann, 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, surrounded by his family, at the Hospice of South Georgia Inpatient Facility in Jesup. Mr. Pete was a native and lifelong resident of Appling County, a retired farmer, and had worked as a security officer for fifteen years with Southern Nuclear at Plant Hatch. He was a lifelong member of Memorial Freewill Baptist Church and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Wille Clifford and Alma Reddish Mann.
Survivors include his wife of sixty years, Brenda Carter Mann; daughter, Tammy Mann Miles; son, Cliff Mann and wife SieyLinda; grandsons, Drake Miles, Dylan Miles, Ashton Mann, and Austin Mann; and great-grandson, Teller Miles.

A graveside funeral service was held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at the Memorial Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Jonathan Mann and Reverend Stephen Bene officiating.

Active Pallbearers were Greg Mann, Russ Martin, Drake Miles, Ashton Mann, Austin Mann, and Dylan Miles.

Honorary Pallbearers were the members of Memorial Freewill Baptist Church, and the staff of Hospice of South Georgia.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Memorial Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund or Hospice of South Georgia.

The staff of Nobles Funeral Home was honored to serve the family of Mr. Clifford David “Pete” Mann.
