Carter James Dukes

 

 

Carter James Dukes was welcomed into this world at 9:26 a.m. on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 weighing two pounds, one and one-half ounces and twelve and one-half inches long. He passed away ten days later, on Friday, August 1, 2025 in the N.I.C.U. at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah.

Survivors include his parents, Allen & Michelle Dukes; sister Joshalyn Marple; maternal grandparents, Darlene Parker and William (Lisa) Crews; paternal grandparents, David & Pam Dukes; several aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive.

Funeral services were held Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. from the Chapel of Swain Funeral Home with Rev. John Daughtry and Rev. Ryan Wilson officiating. Interment followed in Carter James Dukes Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memories contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, www.rmhc.org.
