Jimmy Lee Reynolds
Jimmy Lee Reynolds was born on December 30, 1953, in Wayne County to Daisy Bell Reynolds, and the late James Henry Reynolds. In the early morning on Monday, July 21, at Hospice Satilla in Waycross, the Lord called Jimmy Home.
Jimmy was the eldest of six children. Four sisters, Dianne Parker (Jerry) of Hinesville; Melba Jean Reynolds of Baxley; Betty Jean Reynolds of Middletown, Connecticut; and Gloria Ann Reynolds of Baxley; and one brother, Willie Lee Reynolds (Ethel) of Alma. One surviving Aunt, Mary Lee Richburg; two surviving uncles, June Bug Reynolds, and Joe Lawson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jimmy became a member of the First African Baptist Church and attended the Appling County School System.
He loved westerns and old television shows. He enjoyed having long conversations with family members about days when we were growing up and laughed about all the crazy and funny things that we used to do. Those were simple times and they will forever be missed.
Even though Jimmy’s physical presence is missing, in spirit, he will always be here. May Jimmy rest in peace.
