Justin David Chancey, 42, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2026, at Memorial Health in Savannah after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family and under the comfort of Georgia Hospice Care. Justin was born and raised in Baxley, where he spent his life. He loved sports, tinkering with electronics, and spending time with his family and friends. Justin loved caring for his fur baby, Luna.
Justin is preceded in death by his father, John Coley Chancey, and a brother, John Curtis Chancey, along with both sets of grandparents.
Survivors include his daughters, Samantha Chancey and Ansley Chancey; his mother, Carol Chancey; his brothers, Austin Chancey (Toni), Lewis Chancey; and Benji Cox of Rome; his sister, Debra Gomez (Gabriel); and his fur baby, Luna.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Nobles Funeral Home.
