Louisa Campbell Bush

 

Mrs. Louisa Campbell Bush, 84, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at her residence. Mrs. Bush was a native of Ft. Meade, FL, and a resident of Appling County for over 40 years. Mrs. Louisa was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and a retired Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed fishing, camping, church, and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Mrs. Bush is preceded in death by her husband, R.J. Bush; her son, Gary Widden; and her parents, Alva and Thelma Powell Campbell.

Survivors include her sons, Greg Widden, and Robert (Christy) Bush; daughter, Tina Hardwick; brothers, Charles (Darlene) Campbell and John (Jenny) Campbell; sisters, Faye Flint and Catherine (John) Hake; along with eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, at 11:00 A.M. at the chapel of Nobles Funeral Home with Reverend Daniel Gilliam officiating and eulogy by Lamar Leggett. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Interment will follow in the Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are Russ Carter, Lee Herrington, Brandon Harrelson, Andy Harrelson, Matt Bush, and Buddy Hewitt.

Honorary Pallbearers are the members of Calvary Baptist Church.
