Altamaha Elementary Students participated in a Pumpkin Decorating Contest in October to celebrate the season! Each student showed great imagination with their creations. Three members of the Pine Forest Garden Club had the difficult job of judging the pumpkins! They actually judge every pumpkin. There is a first place, second place, and third place in each age category, but each child receives a certificate. They have come up with a list of superlatives like most colorful, most creative, etc. All of the pumpkins are amazing. The judges stated that it is an honor and a pleasure to be asked to judge.
They were each given a lovely pot of flowers as a thank you.
