The 4th annual Headin’ Home Fest was held at the Stagger Lee Music Park in Graham, GA. This was Stagger Lee’s debut as a Georgia Music Hall of Fame musician.
The rustic campsite set the perfect scene for a family Bluegrass festival and Pickin’ Party full of food trucks, raffle drawings, and more.
Wednesday, October 22 began with a Potluck Dinner and Open Stage event. Musicians traveled from North and South Carolina, Tennessee, and North Dakota, among other places across the nation.
The first full day of the festival on Thursday, Oct 23, featured Willie Wells & BRMG, The Brothers Five, Lydia Hamby & Company, Carson Peters & Iron Mtn. Following the dinner break, Lydia Hamby & Company took the stage before a performance by Headin’ Home.
Friday, October 24 began with a Slow Jam Class before performances by Colin & Kathleen Ray, The Gospel Plowboy, Remedy Tree, Nick Dumas ft. Branchline, and Headin’ Home.
Saturday, October 25, treated attendees to a Slow Jam Class, with performances by Remedy Tree, Retro 78, The Brothers Five, The Waddington Brothers. The fun continued after the dinner break with Retro 78, Headin’ Home, The Waddington Brothers, and The Little Roy & Lizzy Show.
The festival concluded on Sunday, October 26, following a jam session with Headin’ Home.
