Appling County is #JessiStrong

Numerous prayer vigils were held throughout the past week to honor ACHS teacher and softball coach Jessi Stallings. At just 25 years young, Jessi is currently in the ICU at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida, battling an aggressive cancer complicated by an infection. Jessi played for both the Lady Rams and Lady Pirates Softball teams and is a treasured component of the current high school program.
The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) hosted prayer vigils on Tuesday, October 14, following the Lady Pirate volleyball playoff game and Wednesday, October 15, after the Lady Pirate Softball game. Pastor Jordan Ball led the group in prayer of healing and comfort.
The ACHS Softball Team sold tickets for a raffle drawing on Wednesday, October 22, with prizes from over 20 businesses to raise money for medical expenses.
Please be in prayer for Jessi and her family as they navigate the challenges ahead.

Prayers! Prayers! Prayers!
