The Baxley-Appling County Chamber of Commerce hosted Blessing of the Crops on the morning of Friday, May 16, at the Farmers Market.
The program was opened by Chamber CEO Bryan Shipes, who thanked everyone for coming out.
Marketing and tourism director Jaide Stallings spoke next on the Farmers Market rebrand, saying that her grandpa was a crop farmer and that the cause was very close to her heart.
Jonathan Mann provided a message on spiritual and agricultural cultivation.
In addition to the catered breakfast, coffee was provided by Ellianos and Beverly Jo Herndon sold numerous flavors of artisan sourdough loaves, focaccia, cookies, and spelt flour muffins. The Chamber also sold Farmers Market T-shirts.
