Publisher Jamie Gardner is pleased to announce that Geavonna Starr has joined the staff of The Baxley News-Banner. Starr will be serving as news editor for the publication, taking the place of the recently retired Mary Ann Ellis.
“Geavonna will be a great addition to our Baxley staff, and we feel lucky to have her,” said Gardner.
Geavonna is a recent graduate of Georgia State University. She moved to Baxley at age eight with her parents, Dr. Gene and Schvonia Starr.
