Paul L. Williams was born to the late Deacon Harvey and Deaconess Eunice Mae Williams on July 1, 1954 in Baxley. Paul was educated in the Appling County School System. Paul loved the Lord and his family and never met a stranger. Paul was an excellent listener and encourager to everyone. Paul grew up in the McTier Settlement. In his younger years he was a member of New Jersey Missionary Baptist Church. Paul moved to Savannah, and became affiliated with Litway Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Leonard Smalls. He was an active member and Chairman of the Trustee Board.

After retiring from TFW as a Heavy Equipment Operator, Paul returned to Baxley. He became affiliated with the Rachel Missionary Baptist Church where he was a willing worker under the leadership of Pastor Kendall Bennamon. Paul was united in holy matrimony to the love of his life, Vickie, on February 21, 1998. He was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and San Francisco 49ers.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Demesheo Lovelace; and three sisters: Aggie V. Erwin, Revenia Smith, and Hazel Williams.

Fond memories of Paul will forever be cherished by his loving, devoted Wife of 25 years, Vickie Williams; Children; Shanda German, Bryan Keith Garnes, Duramis Lovelace, and India Lewis, Siblings; Daricile Snell, Eunice Nathan (Bryant); Ellis Williams (Annette), Calvin Jones, Inetta Jackson, Robert Sease (Tamekia), In-laws; Kenny Lovelace (Yolanda), Bryan Lovelace, Gary Smith, Christine Chatman, Shanta Hayward, Latrellia Sams, Father-in-law; Chad Lovelace (Carolyn), Aunt and Uncles; Allen Ellis, Shelton Williams (Lula), Frances Williams, Marie Ellis, Mary Harriston, and Stella Bell. He is also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends

Pastor Kendall Bennamon Presided over the service, and musical selections were rendered by Kristy Ryals-Bennett, Patrick Williams and Tara Lee

Active Pallbearers were Robert Sellers, Jamie Bell, Bradley Williams, Kevin Harriston, Paul Williams, Deon Carter, Patrick Williams, and Kenny Lovelace.

Interment was held at Rachel Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery located at 6407 Georgia Highway 144

Professional services were entrusted to Baxley Funeral Home.
