JEQUITO GRIFFIN

Nobles Funeral Home and Crematory announces the funeral service for Mrs. Jequito Griffin, 64, who passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023 at Appling Healthcare. Mrs. Griffin worked at the United States Postal Office in Surrency for 20 years. She was an active and involved member at the First United Pentecostal Church of Glennville. Mrs. Griffin volunteered as a Sunday School teacher and at the church’s food bank until she became sick. She was a loving wife and homemaker.

Mrs. Griffin is preceded by her mother, Novadeen Jackson.

Surviving is her husband, Stanley Griffin; two children, Sherry Baxley (Stephen) and Tommy Griffin (Amy); six grandchildren, Mikhaela Blanton, Bailey Griffin, Kyle Griffin (Emily), Maddie Blanton, Marissa Blanton, and Keith Griffin; one great granddaughter, Chloe Blanton; her father, Wayne Jackson; two siblings, Debbie Aldrich (Eddie) and Sharon Ford; three nieces, Tina, Tanya, and Hannah; a nephew, Dustin; her mother-in-law, Ruth Griffin; and a sister-in-law, Kay Cole (Marc).

The funeral service was Sunday, February 5, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. from Nobles Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Brad Pickren and Reverend James Holland officiating.

Interment followed in the Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family received friends one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the funeral home.

Active Pallbearers were Bailey Griffin, Kyle Griffin, Keith Griffin, Dustin Aldrich, Hunter Mosley, and Marc Cole.

Honorary Pallbearers were the Adult Sunday School Class at First United Pentecostal Church of Glennville, food pantry at First United Pentecostal Church of Glennville, and Mark Murguia.
