Mr. Clinton Roberts, Sr. was born on June 10, 1942 to the late Bishop Roberts, Sr. and Hattie Queen Roberts. He departed this life to rest from all his labor on April 24, 2021.

Listen… his life speaks as sound in the earth as he has fulfilled his purpose in his day and his time. He has touched many people and will be honored and remembered as one of the greatest farmers, the tiller of the ground, that ever has lived in his hometown. Indeed his life has spoken. Listen!

Listen to the sound that rings through the silence as it speaks as the loving husband to his devoted and sweet wife, Elizabeth Roberts, who has stood by him through the bluest of the sky to the darkest of each day. They had a unity that could never be broken, a love knitted through prayer that was strong enough to stay.

Listen! Listen through the silence as he speaks as the father to his clan; as the loving father, protector, example, and the family man to Clint, Willie, Gloria, Tony, Martha, Reggie, Mary, Otis, Ashton, Dalton, and Rasta, and each of his loving grandchildren. Listen! His love yet speaks with a love and memories that will never fade. Even in silence through the tears and through this pain if you listen, you will hear a sound that will always echo in the land.

Listen as his life yet speaks as the brother, brother in love, uncle, cousin, friend, community helper, and one who always had a generous helping hand.

But shhh! As you listen with your hearts you will always hear this humble man’s voice; this great tiller of the ground, husband, father, and one who is loved by so many. You will hear the voice that God has given through the years.
